Dammit, now in have that wonderful jingle in my head.

Enjoy the hell out of it compadre. Becoming my most gamed-on console as of late.

i think part of it has to do with Nintendo having separate teams developing their hardware (this changed last year, however). Without a unified platform in mind when the Wiiu and 3ds were developed, reworking their account strategy might have been easier said than done. At least now they can track what you're buying

great catch.

I've got a feeling they won't truly embrace dedicated accounts until their next machines. As long as they're willing to take steps in the right direction.

buyo'netta 2. ok ill leave now. oh and the game is an absolute blast (this coming from someone who initially wrote of this particular title after the huge delays). worth it.

Wow, that's awful. Might explain it's delays prior to launch as well. Still want one tho.

booooooooo

you're right. amazon does too, but they're twice the price they were before pre-order.

Lucky bastard. Still punching myself in the face for cancelling my pre-order long ago.

Still slightly weary of digital and Nintendo. Without dedicated accounts, there's no guarantee Nintendo would give you the credit necessary to repurchase if your system craps out. Also, it needs to be cheaper (as do all digital versions of all games across the board).

A lot of people seem to be pitting the two versions against each other. We don't all have disposable income, but why not both?

This is only Nintendo published right? It's not one of their own IPs?

I straight up suck with Mewtwo. We had a Melee tournament years ago, and my buddy had his friend from out of town participate. He used Mewtwo and wiped the floor with us. I think he's just to technical of a character for me to care to learn.

I don't know that is how Nintendo sees it (though it's certainly open for debate). Nintendo combined their hardware divisions (handheld and console) last year, so unless they intended on doing so without a unified platform in mind, I don't see this as anything more than a stop-gap (think DSi) until they roll something

Thank God for GS and their used game return policies. Its win-win if you're uncertain about a particular title. At least now you know.

I'll wait for the GOTY COTY version then.

I completely agree. I'm sure you've dealt with a fair share of less-than-desireable co-workers. I'm currently under a manager who flat-out lies to our customers at times, which, if our customers deserve anything, its the truth.

SSB announcer is like the Mike Rowe of announcing. Solid.

I don't disagree that it starts with employee knowledge, but people like you or I who either work in retail, or regularly visit sites like this aren't going to have the problem of knowledge. I'm speaking (relatively) in terms of what a "regular consumer" is, and where I come from (midwest U.S.), a regular consumer is
