appreciate the heads-up. I think it's more the novelty of it that appeals to me, but if the game isn't great to begin with, I'll gladly pass. Kudos on the RPG spreadsheet Btw.

This guy sounds banaynays. I hate the idea of institiutionalizing absolutely everything.

Lol Bucks. They'd be just as bad now.

That's pretty lame. I've been to their website a few times with my finger hovering over the 'order' prompt. I guess I'll stick to gamereproductions.com if I'm looking for new stuff on the old systems.

Smaller install base. Then again, a lot of Nintendo folks (myself included) would absolutely love this to arrive on WiiU.

Your preview almost makes me want to buy the Genesis version instead...

I meant from a character standpoint. Game was fantastic, but you could've substituted the likes of Sora, Soma, or (fill in the blank spiky haired character) for the role of Neku.

The World Ends With You was the first time I realized he was running out of design ideas

I think the game was in development before MS gave the X1 the power boost following the lack of necessary kinect. Still kinda crazy the gap between them. Graphics aren't everything, but Sony definitely learned how to make better hardware after the PS3.

I think Mario games (core titles, not sports or party or whatever) warrant enough of a difference and time between iterations to make those two a poor comparison. AC has been awfully similar in its gameplay since 2. Mario games, while the mechanics can be similar, have also been wildly different.

My buddy was explaining how Far Cry 3 was basically a 1st person AC, and I didn't quite believe him until I played it... It's kind of like the 3D platformer genre of the late 90's and early 2000's. Too much collecting in those days...

It's good they're spreading the love, but there are just too many titles in such a short amount of time.

It really is too fast. There's a game on almost every platform (which I don't own all of them), so I feel like I'm slightly missing out. Also, the more releases, the less special the series becomes. Of course, it all boils down to the series making a ton of money too...

And here I thought AC was experiencing franchise fatigue years ago... sheesh...

still scratching my head about it. Since a lot of people have been pretty savvy about picking over gaming systems in the Milwaukee area (myself one of them), I certainly lucked the heck out. I maybe found that 3 years ago and have barely seen any worthwhile games/systems since. Oh and I should clarify that it all came

well said. The PS buttons actually signify yes and no (X and O ), triangle means waypoint, and square is for maps. That was the intention of the buttons when it was first designed.

I would certainly shell out for an LE Wavebird for this game tho. Missed opprotunity, but I suppose with all of the other control options, that may have been too much.

$13 for another 50% of game is an amazing deal. The characters and added karts are just icing on top of it.

yeah right, you see how much those bad boys are going for? I lucked the hell out and bought a game cube at goodwill with all cords, 3 complete wavebirds, a memory card 251, and double dash for $20. One of the better days of my life.

the controller was designed by a hand specialist for ergonomics and comfort. I agree the d pad , cstick, and z buttons needed some work, but damn that controller just melts in your hands.
