I have my iPhone in my car right now and it's great. I affixed a dock to the top of my steering column and there is just enough room between my gauges to see everything... It's a 93' del sol btw.

@Prairie Moon: It doesn't make me feel dizzy, the only thing I like about it is the stack feature, which I believe OS X has already. Still kinda fun though.

I'm using it now, it's pretty cool... I downloaded a hardwood floor wallpaper for the floor, and put up some pictures to class the place up a bit.

@subsammy: I'm red-green colorblind, and I'm the least cautious person I know when approaching an intersection... as long as I don't see any black and whites!

@carve: I'm colorblind and I still think calling them green is a nomenclature thing... We're the normal ones!!!

@skulldriveshaft picasaweb and youtube: I'm also colorblind, and I think it's a crap idea... However I have a solution! Make it a diamond array of LEDs and use shapes and colors like a green arrow pointing up for foward, a yellow pointing down, for yellow and a red diamond for stop.... Hell I'd probably still screw it…
