My favorite game world? Suikoden.

Must be nice to have grown up in a bubble. My father was in a wheelchair before I was born (1957), we had a black lady who would come to help while my mom had to work. To me that was part of my life. Then I hit Jr. High in the very early 70's. The majority of the school was black. I found out quickly what racism

I’m not racist, but I can’t stand elves, what with their thousand year lifespans and that whole “I’m older than your religion” nonsense. That’s why I’m building this here phylactery.

After placements you get a huge SR boost for awhile where basically a win nets you double normal SR, and a loss only loses you almost half the SR you normally would. It’s such an insane boost that you have to wonder, if you can’t climb back to your previous rank with it, do you really deserve it?

It would have it be in a confusing use, like mentioned above, naming some game Cyberpunk xxxx. Some companies (like Monster cables suing Monster.com) go

I don’t have to try to remember it. I still have the EGM issue and the vivid memories of a summer spent with friends trying to unlock Sheng Long and failing.

But as you just mentioned, you can just play offline. Problem solved.

I suppose you could go all Judgy McJudgerson on TaZzeRK for doing nothing but play a video game for six months

I often recommend the book “Science and Sanity” and the discipline of General Semantics to as many people as I can but especially to individuals who suffer from anything. He claims he doesn’t know how to change his behavior or if he would even want to, not that it is a switch, but that book would definitely help.

Ironically, It seems EA has done a better job at implementing this tech into NBA Live than 2K has.
