Hi David.  I’m from the SLC area, and was curious where Ford took you.  I’ve been all over the place on my dirt bike, and some of those trails look familiar.  Thanks!

I want to know more about Modge and Flevrolet...

There was one of these in the film “Mystery Men,” and it was summarily dented by The Shoveler and pals.

No noise when there should be noise.

Those rearview monitors look like a tacky afterthought in an otherwise remarkable interior.

In some areas, local online classifieds work well. I’m in the Salt Lake City area, and most people forego Craigslist to post their items for sale on KSL.com (it’s a local news site, that has a remarkably robust classifieds presence). Also, Facebook marketplace can be a good option.

I have flown Air India before, and this doesn’t surprise me in the least. The planes all seemed old and rattly, with yellowed plastics, and interior trim from the late ‘70s, and a well-used patina throughout.

Dad: Traded in a 1982 Porsche 911SC for a new 1985 Ford Thunderbird. Years later, he sold his 1990 911 and bought a late 80s Accord. Both Porsches were silver with black interiors and had manual transmissions. At least the Accord was reliable and had a manual.

That induced full body clenching, asshole included.

I don’t recall an advertisement or moment exactly, but I remember my first toy car was a yellow C3 Corvette, and I loved it. I think I just inherently knew from the shape of that body that cars are cool. Still do.

Cheating with electronics is expensive.  This is cheap in comparison.

Dude doesn’t even know what Braille is.

1967 Eldorado I had fixed up over the course of a few years (rebuilt the engine, replaced a bunch of parts, made almost everything work, did all the body work myself, etc.). It wasn’t perfect, but I loved it, and drove it proudly as my DD for about 4 years. Eventually bought my first brand new vehicle (‘99 S-10 ext.

Brilliant idea!

I wonder if the dings in the frunklid will be a factory option... ;)

Hmm... I though an electrical jumper was:

This is awesome!  :)

Wow, those cows can really moooove!
