There’s no possible way this “Dylan” guy’s story can be true. Magic Mountain wasn’t open for year-round operation until 2018. Before then, most of the year was weekends-only. So unless he went without food for several days at a time most of the year, he didn’t actually do this.

I may never know if my hardware can run it. They refuse to release the Bedrock Edition on Linux.

I get the feeling this ranking is an East Coast thing and not applicable to us on the West Coast. They don’t include some of the West Coast favorites. And what are “Culver’s” and “Bojangles”? And there are Paneras with drive thru’s?! I’ve never seen one of those!

I don’t believe that dogs align themselves with North-South to poop. I’ve never once seen a dog that faces any specific direction when they do their business. My current dogs definitely don’t. I’ve been observing any dog I can for evidence of this ever since I heard that rumor. I haven’t seen it happen any more than

I can't speak for Hillsong, as I have no connection to them, but I know that it's been standard practice for many churches to not allow divorced people to be in certain leadership roles. That's gradually beginning to change with some churches, though.

Exact same pattern? Seriously? Then why all the significant differences like the weird out-of-alignment neck line, and the seem that goes down the front from that neck line as if it’s supposed to open, similar to TWoK uniforms instead of the solid design of the Cage and TOS? They look like some modern designer’s riff

A couple things... First, we didn’t vote for permanent Daylight Savings Time (no matter how much I long for that to be true). We didn’t even vote for permanent standard time. We voted to allow the state senate to vote on the subject. If they decide to bring it to a vote, and they vote by a 2/3 margin to allow

That would absolutely suck the life out of people like me, who are by far not morning people. All of society is geared toward morning people. Let us night owls have this one thing for God's sake! I hate getting home from work and it's dark at the very time I am awake and alert enough to do enjoy doing things in the

What the...?! I’ve never once been confused by this, even as a kid. It’s always been perfectly readable as “Disney”. I’ve never, ever, not even once heard of this being a problem until now. How can anyone NOT see that as a D?

Rogue One didn’t have any force users in it? What was Darth Vader, then?

Bingo! That always bugged me about ST:B, being that I’m a musician who had to study music history and all it’s stylistic periods. Sometimes I wish film writers would call me first before finalizing their scripts! 😋

I agree. I thought it was much closer to the character of the original movie than SG-1 and Atlantis were. I couldn’t stand those two series in the slightest, but I love the original movie and SGU.

Did you ever see the original Stargate movie? They weren’t tight-knit, they didn’t use pithy quips, and they only used the Stargate twice. Once to get to where the bulk of the movie takes place, and once at the end to get home. In between, there was interpersonal conflict between the team members, a very conflicted

BSG was amazing. But it was a reboot, and one that worked because even through all it’s campiness, the original had a dark premise at its heart. Still, BSG would have been horrible if we were told that it wasn’t a reboot, and that it was all happening in the same universe and timeline as the original.

Other broadcast TV networks, on par with CBS, release their shows for free (with ads) on their web sites. HBO is in a completely different league, as it’s always been a pay-to-access-only cable service. So this is not a good comparison. CBS is just being greedy. They’re not even on par with Netflix (the other frequent

You obviously didn’t go to my high school...

Wooden instruments, such as a violin, loosen their wood fibers the more you play them, giving them a richer, more responsive tone quality as they age. But the opposite can be true if left unplayed.

Nonsense! Last week’s episode was terrific! Each episode has gotten steadily better than the last.

I completely disagree! It’s the best episode yet! You seem to have only seen the surface-level, and missed the deeper message. This isn’t just about a simple attack on social media. This is more about our society’s propensity to be easily swayed by any kind of media and make snap judgements. We tend to see an event

I agree. Serialization has gotten so old and tiresome. I’ve gotten to where I don’t watch much TV anymore because of it. I want to sit down and watch a show with a distinct beginning, middle, and end, without having to keep track of who’s done what (or whom) and lingering on a theme for weeks on end. I don’t want to
