There’s no possible way this “Dylan” guy’s story can be true. Magic Mountain wasn’t open for year-round operation until 2018. Before then, most of the year was weekends-only. So unless he went without food for several days at a time most of the year, he didn’t actually do this.

I may never know if my hardware can run it. They refuse to release the Bedrock Edition on Linux.

I get the feeling this ranking is an East Coast thing and not applicable to us on the West Coast. They don’t include some of the West Coast favorites. And what are “Culver’s” and “Bojangles”? And there are Paneras with drive thru’s?! I’ve never seen one of those!

I can't speak for Hillsong, as I have no connection to them, but I know that it's been standard practice for many churches to not allow divorced people to be in certain leadership roles. That's gradually beginning to change with some churches, though.

BSG was amazing. But it was a reboot, and one that worked because even through all it’s campiness, the original had a dark premise at its heart. Still, BSG would have been horrible if we were told that it wasn’t a reboot, and that it was all happening in the same universe and timeline as the original.

Wooden instruments, such as a violin, loosen their wood fibers the more you play them, giving them a richer, more responsive tone quality as they age. But the opposite can be true if left unplayed.

Nonsense! Last week’s episode was terrific! Each episode has gotten steadily better than the last.

I completely disagree! It’s the best episode yet! You seem to have only seen the surface-level, and missed the deeper message. This isn’t just about a simple attack on social media. This is more about our society’s propensity to be easily swayed by any kind of media and make snap judgements. We tend to see an event

Data wasn’t the first to utter the S-word on Star Trek. That honor belongs to Dr. Jillian Taylor and Captain Kirk on Star Trek IV when they were having dinner — “No maam, no dipsh!t.” Dr Taylor also called her co-worker a “son of a b!tch.” That movie alone broke most of the “language barriers” in Star Trek.

This is by far my favorite show on TV right now! Yeah, it may not be critically perfect, but who cares?! It’s like comfort food. Sure it’s not a 5-star restaurant 4 course meal, it might not even be very good for you, but it sure does make you feel good and you’ll keep going back to it again and again.

Depending on which Linux you use, Linux doesn’t have to be anything like Thoron described. The Linux that comes with most Raspberry Pi’s is a stripped-down, rather difficult to use version, requiring you to hand-edit files for a lot of things. Then there are things like Linux Mint, Ubuntu, or Elementary OS (just to

Your health insurance analogy doesn’t work, because it’s a completely different type of service.
