That's really cool! Do you have the Jae Lee Batman Black and White statue? If not, you should. It's dope.

I have a handful of original sketches and signed prints I've picked up over the years. Adding one of Jae Lee's to that collection would be the coolest. I've already started thinking about who I'd like him to draw. What character did you have him sketch?
I've been going to comic conventions for years and have never met Jae Lee (he's the last on my list of artists/writers that I haven't met). He's going to be at a convention in Indy in March, and I can't wait! Too bad I won't have one of these figures for him to sign.
If nothing else, Ivan Reis is killing it as cover artist.
Pizza Hut went from first to worst for me a long time ago (stop putting things in the crust already!), and we have some really good local joints that I prefer. I gotta say, though, I read this article because it started with a They Might Be Giants reference.
Individual representatives and senators should be making sure Congress is acting fiscally responsible - it's part of the job of the people in charge of the nation's purse strings. So I don't have anything against the "idea" of the Wastebook. But it's the cavalier nature of Coburn's Wastebook and its general disregard…
If we're going to talk about waste, maybe we should talk about Sen. Coburn's waste of staff time and resources & taxpayer dollars compiling the Wastebook in the first place.
I'm just going to leave this here. Enjoy!
The Kree Supreme Intelligence versus the Phoenix Force. Alternatively, the Hellboy/Pokemon crossover no one wanted, as Abe Sapien meets Charizard.
We opened ours after, if I remember correctly, game 13. We played one more game (with the "Do Not Open. Ever." envelope in play), which gave us a definitive board winner, and have yet to return for game 15. We got kind of burned out on it after playing once a week for 4 months or so.
Try Risk: Legacy then see how much you and your friends fight over when to open the "Do Not Open. Ever." envelope. :)
The best games are those which require smarts, strategy, and a wide frame of reference (and okay, maybe a little luck). For me, that's mostly word games like Scrabble and Password.
We called it boxball, but that's how I spent most recesses from third through fifth grade. Is there anything quite as satisfying as getting some good spin on the ball and dropping it into the corner of your friend's box? Nope.
Hey! My name's Mike, and I'm a pseudo-librarian/teacher/tech support specialist at a career college in Fort Wayne, IN; I also blog occasionally for our Convention and Visitors Bureau. I'm 37, married with 2 dogs and a cat, and I have been a nerd all my life - baby nerds (nerd babies?) are the coolest. I suppose I'm a…
I'm pretty excited that Nathan Drake has joined the cast.
chulo333 is right - I have DirecTV and happened upon the show after searching it out for months. I just double checked - it's still available on Audience on demand through 10/25 for Series 1 and 10/31 for Series 2. I should also plug Brooker's "Dead Set" if you've never seen it. Brilliant.
Sadly, no, and I don't get why it hasn't been, especially since the X-Men arcade game has been ported to XBL and PSN (licensing issues, I suppose). Interestingly, though, there is a college nearby that has the original arcade game in their union, and my friend and I have been itching to get over there.
That's exactly how I feel about Diablo III. I'm at work now just itching to get home and smash some heads with my sweet, sweet hammer. And I'm glad I'm not the only person OCD enough to trace every edge of the map. Those blacked out areas just get to me!
This is absolutely the first thing I thought of when I read the headline.
