It’s a FWD compact sedan. My Buick Verano doesn’t feel cheap at $25k. Why should the CLA feel cheap at $35k just because it has the star on its hood?

It’s a MB that starts at $30k. Of course they’re going to cut corners and it’ll feel cheaper than other cars at that price range.

A Mercedes should NEVER feel cheap. Not when most people pay around $40k for a stretched A-Class.

When people who give literally no fucks about a car know that their CVT sucks, they need to strongly consider looking into minimally a better torque converter transmission or a DCT. The ZF 8 speed is actually a damn good slushbox - especially when compared to godawful CVTs.

I actually do put Phantom Menace slightly ahead for the well-choreographed fight at the end, better practical effects that haven’t aged as poorly, and dialogue that sounds less forced, thanks largely to the presence of Liam Neeson and Ewan Mcgregor.
