I couldn’t believe how bad that show was considering the pedigree of talent involved. The 2nd season was slightly better than the first, but it really didn’t make any difference. Also, Carell’s choice of voice for his character was forced and distracting AF.

Agreed. The level of hubris and self-delusion on display is staggering. The “overnight success” that so many Tarantino wannabes chased in the 90s was almost an epidemic, and Duffy was the poster boy for it. I cringe every time I watch this, but you can’t look away. It’s hypnotic to watch someone literally make every

100% agree. Sure Benioff and Weiss rushed the ending, but I put the blame squarely on Martin for not at least giving them some idea of where everything was headed. GOT was the most expensive show on TV at the time, there was no way they could sustain that cast and the epic-sized production much longer before it

“Sadly, like many of us, the song will never retire...”

What kind of weird, backhanded compliment is that? I get the analogy you were going for, but you pretty much diss the song by using it.

Bullied? BULLIED????? Are you kidding me? WB, a giant billion dollar company was BULLIED???? Are you on the WB payroll or something?

Based on how long he was out of the public eye, he either had a stroke and needed to recuperate, or he OD’d on something and went to rehab. The amount of time is basically the same for both.

This is baffling me too. There has to be a reason Della is still involved with a character that’s yet to show up this season, but I can’t fathom what it might be. It’s an odd choice.

I believe Tom Conti is playing Einstein

Neil Blomkamp needs to make a Richard Kelly biopic and vice versa. I always group these guys together as one-hit wunderkinds that had audacious, original debuts...and not so much after that. A shame, but unfortunate birds of a feather.

I hated the hyper-stylized take Snyder gave us, this looks like the “real” world, which is how this material should be presented. My guess is that it’s a sequel to the book (due to the leaked set photos showing headlines memorializing the Squid Incident) but will crib bits from the movie. Speaking of the movie, is it

Please enlighten us how much time you think he should have waited. You clearly know the exact amount of time someone should mourn, especially someone you’ve never met. Is there a chart we all should follow?

I would be over it too if I was trotted around the globe for weeks and had to sit through interviews about a movie I CAN’T TALK ABOUT. These never ending spoiler-free junkets are a snoozefest because no one can actually discuss making the movie. It’s just a bunch of dumb “funny” variations of the reporters going,

My co-workers and I also made one. For your consideration:

I just spit water out of my mouth. Thank you.

You mad, bro?

Boy, I guess the guy that raped that woman in the parking lot of that mall last year just didn't have the "good guy thing" down yet. His victim should have really been nicer to him.

I bet you look just as charming in your fedora, too.

Apollo 13 is in this. :51

Amen, sir. Amen.

Agreed. And bonus points for the Operation: Mindcrime reference.
