I tipped a nickle and 2 pennies once for awful service. The resturan was almost empty, yet got cold food, and wasn’t checked on once the entire time I was there. Wanted to make it clear i wasn’t a jerk neglecting to tip, i was a jerk tipping badly for bad service.

No,

Doctor Fell: I am not entirely convinced you gave a fuck.

Frankly if you’re getting dead silence then you’re dealing with a shitty company.

It’s the little things that count. If you show politeness it will come across well, especially if you are doing a customer facing job.

At an interview you should bring your best self. It’s not the interviewers place to bring out your best. If we have to fight to see how you will be a good fit, then your probably not actually a good fit.

I currently live in Japan teaching English.

My city barely survived a similar fate. Back in the 70s there was a plan for an elevated highway to and through downtown.

I’m glad you can pat yourself on the back.

I’m not sure I’d consider “Find out if I’m allowed to enter the foreign country, that I want to visit” a life hack..

That’s just not true. I’ve had several cases where we have had one open position and a couple people that would be a good fit, with no clear winner.

I don’t hire based on Thank You notes, but they don’t have to be ass kissing. They can be “Good to meet you, let me know if you have any follow up questions.

I read every resume that gets sent when I’m hiring. What we are looking for tends to be pretty niche and its hard to find the right person with the right experience and the right trajectory (couldn’t be auto filtered well).

Yeah we get head shots fairly commonly too, I don’t think we’ve ever passed on anyone for that reason though. Usually the people who are include them are off continent, or incredibly over qualified.

Nope, I’d immediately throw out the resume of anyone attempting to bribe me. I’m pretty sure my HR department would agree with me on this one.

This depends a lot on the hiring manager.

He’d probably agree with you.

probably

Wow, i totally read over that the first time “Made in America” hmm wonder what they’re lying about... wait... Made for America. They aren’t lying!

I got you
