I hope Nick isn’t getting trashed by people on social who can’t separate art from reality, because his work in bringing Nate and his arc to life has been absolutely stellar. Even when Nate is at his worst you can see layers - Nick communicates them so well.

This was the best episode of the season so far. The return of the Baron was suitably grotesque and amazing! His moment riding around the Power Wheels car was fantastic, specifically his line “I’m controlling it with my mind!” (no he was not). I’m so glad they brought him back, and his new companionship with the Sire

So I was already a huge Kristen Schaal fan prior to her recurring role this season, but she’s such a wonderful addition to this series, and her role/performance this season has made me an even bigger fan.

Best episode since Jackie Daytona and easily in the top-5 of the series so far. Just crazy funny, inventive and original. The show at its best. The harmonica swallow was a riot.

I was a big advocate of Guardians, because those statues are awesome and it’s cool when teams are named after some distinct local feature.

I love all the hemming & hawing about how harrrrrd it is to name a big important NFL sports team, meanwhile the NHL was like “Fuck it, the new team is the Krakens!” and everyone loved it.

Gonna say a big no there buddy, I think this is the best Marvel show so far.   Wandavision started great but went off the rails are the end.  Falcon and Winter Soldier was just a slog.  I have actively enjoyed every episode of this one

unless he shaved his chest like a freak, which would also be on brand

For a second I thought Gelman just flat out wasn’t wearing a shirt under the sports coat. If anyone could have pulled it off it would have been him.

I think Miss Minutes (the animated character from the early eps) has to come back into this somehow. No idea how.

I thought one of the jokes was that Jessica does have a personality - she’s rarely standing around waiting for Morty. She’s usually active, has friends, has been on dates... The joke is that we see her through Morty’s eyes, so we, the viewer don’t see that.

“Fight, fuck, flee" with the police was pretty funny though.

Rick’s greatest nemesis is Rick himself. How the show did not actually come to that conclusion is shocking.

Yeah, I didn’t have any major issues with this episode, which was a relief. The past season was its rockiest to date (and I had some problems with S3 as well), but at least it found its footing by the end. You pretty much nailed it—Jessica’s meh, and I’d wish they’d find a new angle for Morty, but there weren’t any

Just as a general comment on the show, what they have done with Ian and Poppy is magnificent. It would have been so easy to remain simple with them and make especially Poppy this generic do-gooder, but instead by they both are these deeply flawed people where you can see why they would function best together.

What a great interview

I was late to the Gillian love. I didn’t watch X-Files, I think because when it was on I was working restaurant gigs and was never home. I was much more aware of her after that. But It wasn’t until I started to watch “Hannibal” during lockdown that I went “Well hot damn! Here is the female equivalent of getting

Huzzah! I would just like to point out her acid green skull halter gown “at” the GG and the weird ass scenario-

If you feel that way, why watch?
