Our panel didn’t like the sound overall compared to the models that were eventually picked; and it wasn’t up to the standard of previous Bose models that we’d really liked. The SiE2i was a former pick of ours in this category, but…

We’d recommend the same things we’d suggest to runners — an unsealed phone that lets in some exterior sound and allows you to maintain some situational awareness. The Plantronics BackBeat would be a good choice.
