I love love Corrados, but there was not much badass about the G60. It was reasonably quick for its day, but the G-Lader made funny and annoying vibrations. The VR-6 on the other hand, was a superb machine.

Even subtracting ROM cartridge costs, games cost more then, in real-money terms. Now they require orders of magnitude more money to make (and the sales haven’t increased that much), and there’s orders of magnitude more competition, too. Is it just a gambit to put pressure on Mercedes and Ferrari to reduce the cost of their customer engines, or will FIA and FOM seriously consider turning F1 into a spec engine racing series?

The BBC commissioned one of those “real world” tests of two cars, a VW that was supposedly EU5 compliant and a Focus that was supposedly EU6 compliant. The VW produced four times as much as the test permitted and the Focus five times.
