This car was a wreck and was rebuilt.. Here’s the photo from the seller’s site of the ‘before’. The car is listed as a project.

I’m hoping for a 8 1/8 Litre turbo 12-cylinder hybrid with a KERS and ERS-H system.. all crammed into a sound-deadened stainless enclosure with some British guy’s signature on it.

It’s a bummer.. but, honestly, there’s no shortage of great games out right now to fill the void. I’d prefer a delay and better result at the end..

Definitely a nice example of 90s nonsense..

All that noise.. and all those modifications through and through - hundreds of hours spent in the garage modifying this car so it sounds like an angry hell beast.. and that Model X creeping by in the background is probably just as fast off the line, if not faster.

Honestly if Apple (or anyone) can really nail an intelligent home automation solution, i’m all in.

Exactly this..

I think there was blame to go around..

LOL - yeah they almost distract from the Nazi theme. almost.

I did read the article, and Apple’s offshore money is not the issue in any way - nor is Apple breaking any laws. Apple, like many major American companies with offshore money, would like to repatriate money (Tim Cook has said so on many occasions) but the Federal Tax laws need to be amended in order to allow them to

Something tells me that Apple has already shoveled a metric ton of tax money into Cupertino’s coffers. They’re also indirectly employing tens of thousands of people from construction workers to local business owners in the area.

how can you not like Ricciardo?

I want him in the oval office dammit!

I like the public shaming of these asshats - let’s keep that going.. perhaps eventually this kind of thing will die off.

yeah i kinda of agree... although I do think that certain types of VR Games like seated cockpit experiences will be better with VR, a lot of games are just not better when viewed through a headset and the whole walking around in a game bit isn’t really helping.

uhhh.. the sick part is that if you bought this thing and garaged it for about a decade it would probably fetch a million at auction.

..or you could always try the crappy cold war Rift knock-off:

yeah.. I was soaked to the bone in Austin last year as well - waiting for a quali that never came on Saturday was surreal. :)

yeah i would agree.. never has someone done so much with so little.

not only is it great to go to an F1 race.. but COTA in particular is a great track - the last two years have seen some of the best racing of the season there.. Last year in particular was probably the best race of the season - despite the rain.
