Totally agree that it’s out-of-date thinking and I see more diesels with a luxury badge now than even a few years back - The stateside demand for the BMW 335D to me was a breath of fresh air...

I think it’s honestly because a great many Americans have been taught that “premium” vehicles have high horsepower numbers and that diesel is dirty and for work trucks. Obviously this sentiment has been slowly shifting.. but it takes time.
..Well it’s better than a Snake Eater pop up café I guess.. also where’s the Calorie Mate?
Just when the roadside ditches in South Carolina were starting to recover from the Mustang meet up...
yeah I agree..
As a former owner of a Supercharged.. I can only speak for my experience (with a 2008) - ~75K completely trouble free miles.. though, I suppose the front brake rotors needed replacement a bit on the early side. They are much better vehicles than they are given credit for now in terms of reliability.
yeah i agree.. that’s kind of why i was steering clear of a huge RV - this seems like it would basically be like driving a large van rather than a city bus :).. still it’s not nimble.
Couldn’t agree more.. In fact I’d say nearly all of the recent Cadillac styling is terrible. This one, though, is the embodiment of everything they are doing wrong in design.. And they look equally horrible in person.
Yeah agree.. I’m going to say Vettel and Bottas are in the mix as well.
yeah that was amazing - watching him overtake his way through the pack (twice!) was really formula 1 racing at its best.. I don't know if many others could have finished in the points after what he went through even if they had the Mercedes.
Best race of the season.. probably best race in the last couple of seasons actually.
I do think it’s a bit shady that Saleen is paying himself a *minimum* of $20K a month in salary - a number which can’t be reduced according to their 10K - when the company is so hopelessly underwater..
All of it.
it’s actually really well documented in the Double Fine Adventure documentary series. It's definitely worth watching (over time, since it’s so long) if you're at all interested in the game dev process
It sounds like what’s needed is basically just a wholly re-designed Flash player that’s both more efficient and safer. And, now that Flash isn’t really attempting to compete in the media playback market why can’t it be re-re-purposed back to basics as an efficient 2D game engine?
