I look at this product in the same light as I look at the iPod Touch or Nano... or the mac mini or even the 13" macbok pro. these are all examples of Apple building something that's somewhat 'compromised' for power users or tech savvy elite but fits a need for a lot of other people.

Sad. It wasn't that long ago that there were a whole bunch of these 'iPad killers' the joojoo, the grid10, htc flyer and dozens of other crap android tablets.. destined for the 'early Android tablet' graveyard. I can see them shipping it.. maybe if they cobble together a kickstarter or something?
