my 2011 135i weighs 3300lbs on the scales. The 1M was 50lbs heavier than the 135i on paper.

You like turbo 6 cylinders better but bought a turbo 4 cylinder...

1992 is Vintage?! Why is it that when I think about it, I have to remind my self that 1990 was 26 years ago not 10....

I always got loaners when Id take my 135i in. The first time, the service writer said they don’t normally give loaners unless you buy the car from their dealership, so I asked for a ride home (about 1 hour away). He gave me a loaner. The next time I got someone else who had a loaner lined up and it was an X3. I kept

^THAT made me laugh harder than it should have.

friend of mine bought a full size ford econoline POS to drive from North Dakota to Minneapolis with 10 people in it. It was the cheapest way to and from the airport. The van ran great and got us to the airport and got us back to ND when we flew into Minneapolis a week later. He sold it the next day for more than he

I heard a guy say "it has a turbo timer so I clocked the turbo to make more power...."

I wonder if the turbo is the same size as the stock N55. If so, there isn’t a lot of growth performance wise with it. Not compared to a stock N55 making 100 more hp, the M2 will only make 50 more hp? I like this car but wanted it to be more like the 1M, more brutish looking.

I think your day to day car that you take to the track, the GT350. For the all out car track car, its the Z/28. For the car that you as a captain of a land going vessel tell your friends you take to the track and occasionally take it to the drag strip, the USS Hellcat.

I want to go soo bad. I work tomorrow until 3pm and its a 2 hour drive to get there. Maybe Ill go anyway for a little bit, camp out and be there Saturday too. Ill keep an eye out for a white F150 but Im sure you wont be the only one haha. Ill be in a red 06 Ram 2500 4x4

GM had the powerglide in a lot of their cars (this is back when car companies gave cool names to things, posi-traction, sure-grip. torqueflite, etc.). It was a 2 speed automatic transmission. 2 speeds were good for drag racing because the trans only needed to shift once. I think a lot of older hot rod types use

I grew up pretty poor and hoarded money like a crazy person incase my parents needed it to pay rent or a electric bill that month. Bday money from grandma, saved! mowing lawn money, saved! To this day, the panic of needing a lot of money has not left me. I still have a larger than normal amount of money in my savings

I owned an 89 Si, automatic. Some of the things I remember: it would bounce off the rev limiter before grabbing 2nd gear (trans was shot), the sunroof would leak if the front of the car wasn’t pointed down during the rain because that’s where the drains for the sunroof were, and the rear shock bolts were splined. I

I love these old ads and the idea of "Paper Jam", but it would be nice if you could include the specs or a little history on the car in the ad. Just an idea.

When I first saw “T-LC” I thought it was a joke at how Left Eye from the group TLC died. Wasn’t it a Land cruiser or 4 runner she rolled down a cliff? I laughed at this waay too hard in the beginning then realized it meant Toyota Land Cruiser when I read the description.

“Pretty soon, they’ll be putting sport modes on compact cars, pickup trucks, golf carts, desktop printers, etc.“

Or they buy one, get in a fight with a guy, and get wrestled to the ground...

My whole life is a lie! How come I never noticed this?!!

The key is to get rid of it before the future problems start cropping up. Have a little fun and then move on

I guess it depends on how much tax is added and if we actually see improvements being used with that money. If Im paying $5 a gallon for gas and the tax is $1 a gallon, I will be a little upset. If my roads do not improve and the tax is still there, I will be pissed.
