My 74 K-4 Blazer with a Muncie SM465 4speed transmission, 33inch tires, and a heavy duty centerforce clutch that would chatter and shake the truck soo bad the tape would eject out of the stereo. The Muncie was to be started in 2nd gear because 1st was a granny gear. I sweat my left leg was larger then my right because

Any car with a cable driven clutch and a heavy pressure plate. EX: my 74 K-5 blazer with a muncie SM465 4 speed transmission

In the states they made 740 1Ms....

I wonder if the turbo on this is the same size as the stock N55 turbo. If so, it doesn’t pull well up top but has good spool characteristics. And I think there isn’t much left in the turbo beyond these numbers for tuners. Its just a little guy...

Im afraid it wont bring the value of the 1Ms down. The 1M is more “raw” and is lighter too but makes the same amount of torque.

Can someone compare this car to the 1M and then tell everyone to buy this over the 1M, so I can pick up a 1M for cheaper, please?

I keep comparing cars to my 2011 135i. I know the 235 was not worth the upgrade. Im not sure if the M2 is worth getting rid of my 135 for either...

This will upset some balance that we cannot see. Moths are eaten by bats. Less moths, less bats. Less bats, Less Eagles. Less Eagles, Less AMERICA!!!!

The only answer TOO MUCH!

I have found that if you get out of the car and start to do it yourself, they will rush over to stop you. At least in the couple of places that pump gas for you (not NJ though)

So what did they do and what will the software "fix"? I think I heard, that they basically shut off the EGR unless its being tested for emissions. Not sure how true that is. They did it to lower carbon build up in the intake manifold. Can anyone confirm this?

My Spanish teacher in high school taught Spanish this way. When I was in High School, I just thought he had a lisp and was an asshole. Then years later, I traveled to Barthelona, Spain and heard everyone talking that way. It was an ah-ha moment. “He didn’t have a lisp! He was just an asshole!"

Whatever the smell is for the wax in automated carwashes. The one that’s super colorful. I always turn my vents on full blast when that comes on because it smells soo good

19” wheels? Tires for this later are going to be expensive and the selection will be limited. I have 19s on my GTO and I cant get certain tires in the size I need. 18s would’ve been better. I also am not a fan of the "start-stop" feature on any cars, let alone a "racecar". That being said, Ill take mine in White with

Dodge Dakota 4x4. Pretty cheap, V8 powa, 4x4 for dirt bike action, and besides balljoints (which are recalled) are fairly bullet proof. They are the perfect size truck. 01-03 for the best looking ones.

Best CarMax story so far! I laughed a lot. Thank you

This can be summed up in 2 steps.
1) buy an older car that needs work

Youre right, I should’ve thought about it more before I typed it out. ha.

Sweet wheres the PCV valve on this thing? There should be QOTD that asks what automotive acronyms repeat themselves.

The Schwimmwagen had a rudder at the rear for steering and was 4wheel drive though. The reason for the rudder is the front tires wouldn’t steer well in the water.
