I’ve never really understood the people who sell (or even destroy) something they already own because they don’t like who made it. Like with folks getting rid of a band’s albums after they find out the lead singer was a rapist or something - yeah, I get not wanting to give them any more money, but divesting yourself

Does look like golf ball sized hail.

Mike_Smith, you’re describing a Honda Clarity. 48 miles of range on EV only. Hybrid/Gas engine for the rest. I bought one for the wife. Great family car. We take it on trips all the time. I trickle charge it with 120V, and it’s always at full capacity in the morning, even if it’s been driven to empty. I got it for 34K

Totally agree.  PHEVs can offer the best of all worlds: around-town EV driving, with the ICE engine for longer trips.

Personally, I don’t see how anyone in a non matching leopard print bikini top has any grounds to accuse others of being “low class”.

We should start calling that “Karen’s Law”.  Godwin’s Law for racist assholes.

Not public transportation, but been going on for many years here in the US.

Ironically, Ron Desantis’ poll numbers being such a drag makes him illegal in Florida!

You sure this wasn’t an exiled Russian dissident? They happen to strange accidental deaths too.

I’d put the i8 there, too, with the rear bumper that’s shitting out a Porsche bumper.

They forgot the i3...or as I like to call it, the “angry rice cooker”:

You really need to spring for the EM50 upgrade.

It’s more convenient to wait for the sun to go down than to switch on the AC.

I’m surprised you included split-level but not tri-level. Tri-levels were very popular for 10-20 years, and while similar to a split-level are different from them.

The legal argument was that in the early days of dealerships, the manufacturers had too much economic power over dealerships. Also, they could undercut them by opening their own manufacturer-operated dealerships.

GM rebadges every EV as a “Saturn” in Florida.

Yeah, fuck affordable EVs! Volvo needs to stay niche! Would hate to see more Volvos, then it wouldn’t be special to own one anymore.

If they can maintain a decent level of quality (which I’m skeptical that they can) I don’t see an issue with it? We need more affordable EV options, and I think it’s great that a car company is actually trying to increase production of affordable models and not just going more upmarket and exclusive like almost

I miss the TG format with the audience interplay and new car tests along with a road film. No one did it better than these three at their peak.

It’s like people who have clearly never listened to the lyrics to “Born in the USA.
