It certainly isn’t everything, but to say that the simple visceral experience of that kind of acceleration, even if you’re just the passenger, isn’t fun? Naw, that’s fun.

And only one singular summons is being referred to here - so where does the plural come into it?
Take-away: speed limits in the US are obviously too low.
“Summonses”? Is the VA State Police page run by Officer Gollum?
Some versions of the Merc did at least make it to Canada, not sure about the AMG though.
I would say just get yourself a GTI Clubsport instead, but guess what... :-/
“...50% of the passengers landed in Edinburgh without their luggage. Then the one person staffing the lost luggage desk got sick and had to go home.” Yeah, suuuuuuure they did. I would “get sick” too, in that situation.
Hmm, exactly the same amount of power as the new GTI Clubsport. Coincidence??!?!??!
It does to that crackhead - and since there’s only car for sale, there only needs to be one customer. It might not be a reasonable market price, but that’s a different issue. P/Q equilibrium pricing, like any statistical distribution, gets weird way out at the tails.
“This Seller Thinks $38,000 For A 2000 Honda Civic Si Is Totally Reasonable”
Quite possibly, particularly since tungsten is not only very dense but also very hard.
I know we all love hating Tesla, but - I assume everyone realizes that this would have been the outcome with any car with a panoramic glass roof. This is one (one) case where Teslas don’t necessarily suck any worse than any other car.
Porsche 911. It’s been around for 60 friggin’ years; they must be doing something right. (That something being rewriting the laws of physics on a regular basis.)
My stepmom’s got one. It’s not terrible. I guess.
I’ve lived here my whole life (OK, since I was 5) so yeah, I have some idea how it works. What’s your point? Mine was simply that being the 5th largest city in NY doesn’t necessarily mean that much. I don’t know that was going to get under your skin quite so much. Not everything is a personal attack, brah.
Yes, it is legally a city, of course, and not really a small one, but there are several towns in New York that are in fact larger than the city of Syracuse. The Town of Hempstead, for instance, is nearly 5 times as large as Syracuse in population.
Maybe they’re charging a premium ‘cause they don’t sell as many of them. There are certain fixed costs in setting up and running a painting production line for each color, aren’t there?
I dunno, man. When I bought my ‘19 GLI, I wanted Pure Gray (a “color” I’ve received several compliments on, BTW) and the dealer had to bring a car in from out of state.
Please don’t do this, just please don’t. Isn’t there enough bullshit hateful MAGAt dogwhistling to go around?
Yeah, United said they pulled it out of rotation for a deep cleaning... <eyeroll>
