The F-150 that it was towing was experiencing the exact same forces on the other end of the chain, and was completely unscathed. Any body-on-frame pickup truck from the last 30 years would have been fine.

Alas I won’t be

You are just wrong. ANY extra interior lighting is going to cause your pupils to dilate more than they should and diminish your night vision. This is just science and not up for debate. A car interior should look like this at night, and I’d even say that they have the gauge brightness a bit to high even here.

This is actually my sister’s post! She ended up with a Bronco sport that she ordered, since this was around covid era and couldn’t get anything without a markup, she ordered from Ford and got a discount off msrp.

Her requirements: CUV, AWD, 90lb dog, and ‘leather’

If the 2002 Forrester currently works for room, with size inflation, the Crosstrek is now around the size of the 2002 Forester. You can get one with the bigger engine nicely equipped for under $35,000.

What’s wild to me is that this is the bus/RV/limo thing that literally started my career at Jalopnik. I wrote about this exact coach as my first-ever article here nearly four years ago!!

The roads are the least worst thing about Florida.

No, shut up, this is how we got where we are with giant overpowered trucks ruining everything. This can already tow 4,000 pounds and still gets decent mileage. If you want a big truck, buy a big truck. Don’t ruin the small truck.

I’m definitely interested in a PHEV version of this.

My Volvo V60 Cross Country specifically, but generally speaking any lifted station wagon.

Bring back the Fiesta as an electric, and boom, Ford’s answer to the Chevy Volt. (Which for some reason, Chevy stopped making?)

The 86 wouldn’t be too shabby as an EV. perfect size, weight would probably be around 3500lbs, but since Toyota wanna be hp shy with the 4 banger, maybe we’ll get a 300hp EV variant.

Camry, Accord, Corolla, Golf/Jetta, Civic, Mirage, Sentra, and all CUVs and mini SUVs that nobody ultimately give any crap about. Allow me to explain, by using a Camry as an example. A Camry is just a Camry, nobody seriously invested into automobiles give a toss. It’s just a car, a very good car that is more than:

So, then a Mazda 5?

Coming from a Lexus fanboy, but the Lexus GS. I know, the demand for sedans is dying, but between the non-existent 2nd row of the IS and the too-boatlike-ride of the ES, there’s not a good inbetween for some of us who want something with more rear legroom but also sporty (hint hint bring back the GS-F). I know Lexus

I’d settle for the hybrid Fit/Jazz they sell in Japan and Europe...

Honda Fit...but make it an EV. Honda can borrow Chevy’s electric tech from the upcoming Bolt (like they did with the Prologue) and make a new Fit now with even better interior packaging and flexiblity.

Wagons, all of them. Camry wagon, Accord wagon, A4 and A6 Wagon, 3 series and 5 series wagon, C class wagon, Jetta wagon, all of them.

HONDA ELEMENT. Supposedly a couple recent Honda patents suggest they may be working on a new Element.
