I think so, however one great test for reliability is Taxi’s. If you’re in NY, almost all of the cars are Toyotas for a reason...

I thought the gross vehicle weight was limited to 80,000 lbs in most states?
I was going to add the same comment. Here in Ohio I see at least a few mail carriers using them. You’ll notice they replaced the Mercedes logo with the USPS logo.
A few local dealers have a ~40 coming in around Dec at MSRP. At least here in Ohio no mark up, although most models are being pre-sold.
Nope, just an old fashioned hybrid
Could not agree more, the CX-50 I believe fits all of his recommendations. Def. worth a test drive.
I was thinking if he’s looking for a premium feel, my gut recommendation is any Mazda :
I don’t completely get the hate for black wheels. For most factory cars the only wheels left are chrome and silver.
I don’t get all the hate. We complain that all CUVs look similar, then a company has the courage to make something look unique then the internet revolts. I commend them for taking a chance.
It does it the upper trims.
That’s true. I’m working with a dealer that doesn’t charge over MSRP, so I don’t expect any premium above the flat rate. It’s difficult to compare as the highest trim is only hybrid.
Personal choice: which specific trim would you recommend after driving them back to back? We’re planning to order a 2023 model this month, however unsure if the value is there for the hybrid models. Math says the extra cost will break even in a few years, so it may be worth it. Are the upgraded speaker system worth…
Eddie bauer edition ford. Did it really add any value?:
I 100% agree, you should totally be writing for this or the Autopian, you have the skills! Plus you own a British racing green Jaaaag with bronze wheels.
I understand, I’m asking about this specific generation.
Anyone else what happened to these? I seem to remember seeing them everywhere in the mid 2000's. Now, now you may see one a year.
Honda Fit. Cheap, reliable, chuck-able (relatively). Plus plenty of room to carry gear or others to and from the track.
Nissan 240z:
I think the front view looks similar to a modern RX-8
Could not agree more, this is an awesome, and varied stable.
