I agree with you 100%. Except I think the Honda twin of the MDX is the pilot, which loaded out would still be about 20-30k cheaper.

For comfort: ventilated seats in the summer time. A/C can only do so much when the leather seats are 100*F+

I was also thinking the IS 500 F. Naturally Aspirated V8, 400+ hp:

100% RC F would be a great fit, or at least deserves a test drive. I’d also throw in a Corvette:

Same with our Toyota Dealers here. Other makes have at least a few of each model to test drive. Went to 2 major Toyota Dealers and neither had a single new car/truck/suv. Car Max had many more Toyota’s than the dealer did. Such an odd time...

In every rental car I have, bloody auto start/stop. More aggravating for cars that reset your selection after it’s shut off.

Adam - I love your reviews. Your writing is friendly, detailed, and focused. My favorite section is the Class and Competition. I wish all the Jalopnik reviews had them; it provides a clear picture for driving homework when comparing this to other cars.

I recently rented one for a week and it is SO much fun to drive. You’re right, the turbo punch made it a blast and the interior felt more upscale than similar luxury cars.

Another trick is to click the filter for owners only. Most of those are posted by scammy dealers.

I think that’s a fantastic idea! Being that large of a platform, they have plenty of room to store the batteries and motors. In some states you can drive EVs in the HOV lanes too...
