Vegans don’t just boycott animal foods, they do the same with clothing (like leather) and other products (ie pest control etc).

Most Hindus are vegetarians. So I imagine it will be an issue for them.

I’m all for exercising good ethics when it comes to animal welfare, but I think there’s much more pressing issues at hand than trace amounts of tallow in bank notes.

People need to grow up a bit (the people pushing ideas like this anyway - and I say this as a non-smoker.
