The Bane voice will forever be one of my top "actor choices"

I realize it's not a straight up adaptation of the first book. I had thought it would combine parts of book one and two, minus the lobsters and Eddie and Susannah

The runtime is honestly the first time I've been really concerned about anything. Which sounds crazy.

I always assumed within the universe of the show that dragonglass was made using fire from dragons, even though it's called obsidian. But either way, seems like Dragonstone might have some.

With Stannis being at the wall you'd think it would have come up that Dragonstone had dragon glass. Not that I mind them finally showing Old Town, it all looks great. But I remember having these thoughts while reading the books too.

I think I always just assumed there was dragonglass at Dragonstone.

Just as with the book, I don't really get Sam's side quest in Old Town to find more info about the White Walkers. They know how to destroy them already. Granted they don't have enough dragon glass but wouldn't you kind of assume that Dragonstone also has info about dragon glass? And there, Sam doesn't have to jump

So they're in Jackie Treehorn's house and the CIA is slouching back with his hands behind his head like Lebowski.

The actor who gets the role of God is named Mark Harelik, which is the actor's name IRL

It's galling for him to make fun of any kind of snobbery. I think he's a populist about food, but he also enjoys a great, usually expensive, well-prepared and often complicated meal.

There was a second season already?!

Yeah, that's definitely possible. Hadn't thought of that, I assumed that Emmett was standing near the car and Nikki and he trooper were further into the road so he wasn't in the crossfire.

Fair point.

That was my exact thought. I have no idea when they came up with the direction for the finale and eventual
Season 7, but it seems like it's all based on the idea that if Trump can get elected, Selina could also.

What's with Jenji Kohan being unable to create likable main characters? I realize both GLOW and OITNB are kind of ensembles but like Parks or HIMYM, they do have a central character. And in the case of Kohan's two shows, very similar central characters. Kohan seems to be bending over backwards to make you bend over

I agree with the idea of your argument. But it's a deeper problem, like athlete adulation. It's easier to try to make fictional characters into better role models than it is to fix the societal
issues that have produced a lack of real life role models that people actually care about.

Well as the review mentioned, her being an avenging angel. I guess you could say Maurice was innocent, although he did murder someone. I was on her side up until that moment.

So no Bradley Cooper?

The Fargo theme worked really well for me in that moment, mainly because it evoked Marge's speech at the end of the movie.

Nikki killing the trooper was such a huge misstep for this season.
