Time has not been good to Friends. Shouldn't be #10

There's something about Ron Perlman that I can't quite describe. I love Hellboy, but most other times I see him I'm just annoyed and eye-rolly. I remember those early promos for Sons of Anarchy really got my goat. So much scenery chewing, but not like late-era Pacino scenery chewing. It's like he's chewing the scenery…
I love the use of the Fargo theme, once again.
Mike also called the Buffalo guy "Friendo" and I thought the scene where Hanzee saw Lou's reflection on the street was very much like No Country also.
I developed a theory that Tootles is actually a highly evolved Mickey Mouse from hundreds of thousands of years in the future, who has time-traveled back to the present to help Mickey.
I was a freshman in college! I just can't believe it was that long ago. I could have sworn they did the house thing for the movie? Maybe I'm confusing the house thing with some other promo they did for the movie?
Fuck yes. I was a stay-at-home dad for the first year of my son's life, and then after that still only working part-time for at least another year. I got exposed to a lot of kids shows. Some are great (Peg+Cat), some I tolerate because I know they're good learning shows (MIckey Mouse Clubhouse, Super Why) and some are…
Holy shit, that was in 1997? When I saw the headline of this article I could have sworn it was in the late 2000s.
Ah yes
Refresh my memory, totally forgot what this is.
How in the hell was Ian McKellan not in Harry Potter in any way? I always thought he'd be a great Aberforth Dumbledore
I kind of wish Darhk was always like he was last night. Slightly campy and over the top instead of just straight psycho.
Vandal Savage is a great villain and I have a good feeling Legends might be his best non-comic depiction ever. I don't recall from the comics if Vandal Savage had anything to do with the Hawkpeople, then again the history of the Hawkpeople confuses me. Sometimes they're aliens, sometimes they're reincarnated…
Good point
The background is stunning. It looked like actual film.
Goodfellas prison scene. Shaving the garlic so it liquified in the sauce, the pan fried steak, all those Italian deli meats, that awesome crusty bread. And also the scene in Godfather when Clemenza teaches Michael how to make a lot of sauce for a big group and also doles out life advice
If I didn't know better I'd say Mike Milligan was a character specifically written by the Coen Bros. He's a fully realized Coen Bros character and Woodbine's acting is spot on
Maybe they show Otto's father arriving in the US for season 3?
I'm pretty sure they hated Catholics too, because of the Pope. Although I could be confusing the Nazis with the Klan.
Isn't it kind of always based on fear though? I think the fear aspect is one thing people miss about Nazis, but generally racism comes from a fear of the unknown, and then once you feel like you "know" this group you're afraid of them coming in and taking over and changing your way of life, taking your job etc…
