I think the only issue I really had with this show was how the Bravermans basically just did whatever they wanted, career-wise, and succeeded. It didn't matter how little formal training they had, they just did it. Playwright? Check. Photographer? Check. Open a fucking charter school for special needs kids? Check.

Parnethood exists in a world with Dillon, TX, but also in a world with doppelgangers of people from that town. It's a perfect place.

Katims said there was a scene they shot and cut showing those two meeting in a park, both being single parents. They also cut a scene with John Corbett meeting his grandson for the first time.

She was at the baseball game though, which I'm assuming was a little ways down the line maybe? Or maybe it wasn't I don't know.

The right often complains about the lack of family values in entertainment, but I guess a show with mixed race couples/children and lots of born out of wedlock children isn't what they're looking for, even if it was packed to bursting with actual, decent family values.
