All I know is both South Austin Subways I regularly drive past are now closed. One is now a BBQ place and the other is just an empty storefront.

At this point in my life, all I need is a GTI. It’s as perfect a car (meaning something you can use as daily transportation) that’s ever been made, in my estimation. I do hope by the time my mkVII is worn out I’ll be able to replace it with a fully electric GTI.

How thin the entire sequel-era is as a whole. Without rehashing it all, JJ Abrams is a hack who did very little for the franchise.

Weirdly, there are two Culver’s in Austin, one of which is literally within casual biking distance of my house. I think the one up north is relatively new, but this one has been there for years. I suppose it’s sort of like finding a Whataburger in Oshkosh. Anyway, my favorite fast food place, too.
