The greatest sin was finally developing a decent starfighter game then utterly abandoning it.

The official national motto of the United States should be changed from In God We Trust to You Can’t Tell Me What to Do, Fuck Y’all.

True story - back in the late 90s I’d never seen or even heard of a Lotus Europa, so when I encountered on playing Gran Turismo I thought it was a ute, like an El Camino.

I was talking to a coworker the other day (OK, obviously not the other day, more like January) and who had just watched Back to the Future with their three sons, aged 6 to 12. She said it was the most uncomfortable two hours of her life, because they kept asking why Marty’s mom wanted to kiss her son, then having to ex

For the record, organic milk and locally-sourced grains are no more or less nutritious than non-organic and non-locally sourced grains. There could be some general health and ecosystemic benefits to them, but nutritional value isn’t one.

I think at some point those in power and those who seek power have to accept that a growing population of not just activists but also voters with mainstream values are no longer going to accept the leadership of those who have a history of abuse. We’re also increasingly intolerant of those who equivocate on the issue.

Folks making it reeeeeally easy to realize how broken our political system is.

Anyone who hates angel hair pasta has never had my grandmother’s fideo recipe. Dear God. And now I’m making it tonight.

My father in law was on the Forrestal back in the day and says the pilots all talked about seeing craft flying around, but that it was explained by “relative parallax motion” and radar anamolies.

Explain? Because on certain “forums” the chanting about a Chinese/Russian hypersonic drone incursion and the need for immediate military response is drowning out the possibility of extraterrestrial craft.

Didn’t several Navy pilots explain how the relative motion of the plane to the object to the horizon, along with some quirks of FLIR, could explain the perception of incredible speed and maneuverability? Because there isn’t even theoretical explanation for the physics of a machine doing that, and honestly... aliens?

Same. Salt is allowed out but only because it’s an antique ceramic salt pig. My cast iron and carbon steel all has to live in the oven. Even the coffee maker has to be put away every morning.

A tiny bit of salt (literally a pinch) will neutralize some of the bitter acidity in drip coffee without making it salty, but the best cup I’ve ever made was with an Aeropress. I don’t know the measurements because I’ve been making it the way I like ot for so long, but it’s dead reliable once you tweak your preferred

I think we can all agree lenders who sell loans to subprime borrowers who are always only one paycheck away from insolvency bear the majority of the blame.

In 2012 I was cutting an avocado with a chef’s knife.

My neighbor just paid $1,000 on eBay for a Switch and a Switch Light, and the Light was used. That seems smart.

This would be funny if there weren’t numerous ultra nationalists beating the war drum. Over the weekend the president said CHina should pay if they had any knowledge of the virus, following Lou Dobbs saying we just needed to start a war in retaliation for killing (then) 30,000 Americans. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/

I’ve done this. In 2002 I went with a delegation from Hot Springs, AR to Hanamaki, our sister city, in Iwate Prefecture. I was documenting the trip for our 10th anniversary of the relationship, and it was literally a life-changing experience. Less than ayear later I’d resigned and was living abroad.

Dear Lord, yes. Wake up at 7. Walk the dog while responding to the 200 work emails that came in overnight. Make a smoothie and chug it. Shower. Make coffee and chug it. Wake up kids and make them breakfast. Get them started on iPad lessons while I work and wife works. Wife handles whining kids while I have my first

I once saw another Alfa GTV6 with an LT1. Not an LS, but an LT.
