Uh no.. I’ve owned 6 Subarus now and the most I have HAD to do to any of them was maintenance. in over 100k miles. The expensive part is when you try to get them to go past 200% original output of the engine. (My 2002 WRX) and have a bad tuner. Or multiples. My 2012 STi, 2005Legacy GT were both modded and no issues.…
