Packaging, weight, handling. Was the 302 ever available in a transverse orientation?
The SHO engine does have to be a part of any conversation about Ford’s best - there’s a guy out there with a Taurus running 8s making well over 1100hp on a stock SHO block, crank, and heads. No one has ever found the power limit for

The SHO did get a shout out.

The Explorer has an NA 3.3L hybrid. The F-150 has a 3.5 turbo hybrid, totally different systems. Neither is the one you want. You want the 3.0 turbo hybrid from the Aviator, that one makes 494hp and 630ft-lb.

once the Camaro and challenger seize production

The Focus RS system is a similar concept, except its clutches are on each rear axle after the ring gear. Because of this, the Focus’s system can actively transfer not only front to rear, but also side to side out back, something that very few AWD systems can do.

Is it clear that the owner of this GT was a man? I would...

I’ve had a couple of these as loaners and was entirely underwhelmed with the NVH. It felt exactly like driving my sister’s 1999 Contour with the Zetec engine - buzzy, obnoxious 4cyl engine drone. Maybe it’s just a 4cyl thing, but my parents’ 4cyl MKZ felt the same. My V6 Lincolns have felt entirely different.

The 6.2 was available in the Lariat, Platinum, Limited, Harley, and Raptor F-150s. Even though the Raptor had wider fenders, the engine bay was the same size.

Sure, and I’ve seen the Mustang videos on YouTube. That doesn’t mean that constantly referencing the same tired tropes over and over isn’t hack comedy.

Hahaha, the Coyote would like a word with you.

The new Bronco is based on the next-gen Ranger platform, not the F150.

My favorite part of the Midnight edition is the chrome badge letting everyone know that your car has blacked-out badges.

That setup offers a 38/62 front-to-rear torque split most of the time, but can send up to 90 percent of the power to one or the other axle when it detects slip.

I’m gonna call it now: A bunch of unfunny internet hack commenters making “Cars and Coffee” references that were already tired 8 years ago but unoriginal people keep repeating.

Just look at what happened with the Bronco - Ford promised that Broncos would be built in the order that orders were submitted. Some smaller dealerships took this cue and built a huge organic fanbase with tons of orders by promising below-invoice pricing, excellent service, and tons of perks.

(RX-8 owner here)

Ouch on the Coyote. They can definitely be ear-splittingly blatty when straight-piped, but they sound great opened up just a little bit.

The Bronco Sport never looked good, but giving it this treatment just makes it look horrendous. It looks like a racoon face.

Do the Québécois have excellent taste in automotive design?

A Honda Civic of today has better performance? Or the Honda Civic of 1978? Because the Mustang II was certainly faster than its contemporary Civic, and you don’t want to start comparing the performance of modern cars to even iconic muscle cars of the ‘60s and ‘70s because you’re going to hurt some boomer feelings.
