i find this hard to believe. If there had been thawing to the extent they say, then there would be huge numbers of thawed out dinosaurs and shape shifting aliens roaming the earth.
the real problem is that idealism became wrinkled and discarded - really, it should have evolved and became more sophisticated and faced more profound fundamentals rather than the superficial, perpetual (no matter who) good guys v. bad guys.
