And who was he cleansing at that moment? if he’s doing something illegal, call a cop. Otherwise you don’t have the right to react with violence. And if the situation was reversed there’s no way you’d be arguing the pro assault option.

My Italian American grandfather fought in WWII, and despised the Nazis and fascists in Italy till the day he died. I like to think if there is an afterlife, he saw this, cracked open a ghost beer, and had a good laugh.

Recently I had dinner with my (Australian) conservative aunt and uncle who don’t trust the Clintons, dislike Barack Obama, and love the Oz equivalent of Hannity. Even they gushed about how smart and lovely and kind Michelle seems. It really brought home to me how vile and racist you have to be to disapprove of her.

I found an old copy of Mechwarrior 2 in a Ross clothing store of all places a one time. I never quite got it to run on Windows 7 back in the day. Though the disc’s audio track was pretty darn awesome. Really looking to experiencing some of this series when this comes out.

Last I heard, both Masamune Shirow, and Mamoru Oshii are really liking what they’re doing. When the series creator, and the director of the original movie are both digging it, they must be doing something right.
