Like I said, they are variations on a theme, but a rescue board would have extra buoyancy to handle two people. A lay down board would be longer to improve efficiency on a long trip.

I liked the third book except that every time the scene got too complicated, Katniss would be knocked unconscious. That annoyed me.
Anyone who has any interest in lead poisoning and public health should read about the shocking corellation between leaded gasoline in the US and the rise and fall of crime in the last 50 years. This article is from Mother Jones, which may be partisan, but still has excellent environmental reporting. Even if you don't…
In Stranger Than Fiction, Will Ferrell finds his life controlled by a narrator he hears in his head. In the short…
Each one is self-contained. I've basically been playing them in reverse order. Played Blood Dragon first, which I loved, then Far Cry 3, which is also great, and now I'm in the middle of Far Cry 2. I'm really enjoying a lot of the second one. It has fewer features as the third, but I find it somewhat more immersive…
Very interesting. I didn't know it had a name either, but I've noticed it my whole life. I don't feel it that strongly from this video, but I do get it somewhat. I usually experience it most strongly from people whispering or speaking it a very soothing manner. Bob Ross's voice plus the sounds of his paintbrushes…

The video did nothing, but now I know that it is a thing. I always thought it was just me.
I would pay real money to watch Captain Reynolds and the crew of the U.S.S. Serenity.
This is inspiring until you think about the man or woman sitting "in a box doing some shit they don't like" because they have a family that needs food and "sitting in the box" is the best way to provide food and shelter and clothing, and "sitting in a box" isn't that bad, because, well, kids get hungry, and cold.…
Classic Newport Wedge in action on a small day.
This is proper sized Wedge:
This is one thing to love about the Trackmania games - the ability to string together several replays into something epic like this. I played Trackmania in it's various incarnations for years. Such a fun game!
My first thoughts too. It looks better with the wings and all, but as they said on a program about a tornado that hit an airport, it doesn't matter if the airplane is moving through the air or if the air is blowing past the airplane. The wings still work.
Another benefit of these vehicles usually occurs during weather related emergencies. These vehicles are usually better equipped to navigate flooded streets, downed power lines, etc.
Thanks
They're doing their part alright...
SOUNDGARDEN TOLD THE FUTURE
I hope those assholes threw it back!
I seed what you did there.
I keep my old flip-phone around with the idea that I'll charge it up to take on trips as a backup 911 phone, since (assuming it still works) its battery should last longer than my smartphone's.
