Pretty funny, that you wrote that. Because I always think that “Valorant” looks like another “throwaway” shooter (for a lack of a better term), that people would talk about like they do about that "Shadowrun"-FPS, hadn’t it been for it’s huge marketing budget.

Fun fact: “Order of Ecclesia” is actually the best “Castlevania”, with “Aria of Sorrow” being a close second.

In a fantasy-setting, I’d say “Breath of the Wild” is the absolute pinnacle in this regard. The architecture and verticality of it’s world is mind-blowing.

I agree. Although, I think constantly calibrating the Wiimote could legitimately be seen as annoying. (except for Garrus, of course)

That’s because it is indeed a nearly (!) perfect game (and also one of my top 3, by the way). In it’s original form it has some pretty hefty slowdowns in places (which was cured in “DX”) and you have to constantly switch between the feather and the bracelet. But I agree, those are hardly “major” flaws.

I’ve never seen a perfect “Zelda”-game (maybe “Ocarina of Time”, but I was really late to that party). Most of them have some pretty major flaws. It still my favorite videogame series.

Thanks for your effort. I really appreciate it.

Well, I guess you can’t put a “Zelda”-label on the new “Call of Duty” and expect “Zelda”-fans to like it for all the things it hasn't to do with “Zelda” and just be here for a fun Treyarch shooter.

Less cringey than I was expecting, but I’ve watched it mostly by skipping to the gameplay-parts. But does Ubisoft know how a real human being behaves?

Good one. :)

“Avatar” is one of my favorite movies of all time. Sure, it’s rich on tropes, but it’s also very well told and feels genuine. I watch movies mainly for the immersion, the atmosphere, emotion and the visuals and not so much for a super complex narration. I’ve seen “Avatar” four times in cinemas alone and while I was

Really a nice surprise. I’m more the action-game guy, but I like tactics-game, too. And I think “Metal Slug” is such a perfect fit, I wonder, why this game doesn’t exist since the 90s.

I don’t get the edgy negativity. I mean, there are just so many developers showing something at E3 or in this time around it, it is practically impossible not to see at least a handful of games that get me excited. And I’m not even that easy to hype.

Maybe it’s just me. I almost never expect something specific. I’m

Give me all the 2D-action-sidescrollers! “The Legend of Tianding” is my highlight, here. As a fan of (historical) Hong-Kong/Chinese action-movies this scratches a certain itch. Hope, it turns out to be as good as it looks.

It’s my first son’s birthday on Saturday and I have to go to work on Sunday. So, probably not much game-time for me this weekend.

Maybe I make some small progress in one of the 200 games I started or re-installed recently, including “Origami King”, “Link’s Awakening”, “Spider-Man”, “Resi VII”, “Hollow Knight” or

Also, am I right, seeing a "Metroid: Other M"-liker in you? If so, cheers!

No, you’re both not seeing it. If you rearrange the letters in the info correctly, it clearly reads “New ‘Wave Race’ will be announced". What else? Everyone wants it, so they'll bring it. It's the most logical thing to do.

Hell yes! to that “inFamous”-suggestion. Although, I think, they decreased in quality with every entry, I simply loved the first two and enjoyed the third well enough.

Paragon! It isn’t even a choice. I’m just not able to play as the bad guy or just an ass. After a few hours trying that, I would have to start all over again. It just feels wrong.
