Man, they got me with this one. This is a game like I wished a long time for. This will be corrupted by service-game-BS and the trailers were cringy as always, but I badly want this to be good.

Lol! They don’t even try. What a constant slap in the face for fans of franchises Ubisoft still can’t figure out how to gaas. Just sell the brand (and “Splinter Cell” too) to THQ or whatever, but don’t continue this torture.

I seriously can’t stand how Ubisoft advertises their games. Everything seems like it’s aiming for (and made by) wealthy, adolescent, hollow, coke-sniffling wannabe swag-kings that lost contact to reality an eternity ago. It almost gives me a cringe-stroke. I checked out after half of the show to avoid puking and

Seriously? Holy shit, that is so dumb, it could be a Trump-post. (It’s his favorite burger, too, I assume.)

So, that’s Nintendo’s big title for Christmas season the, I guess. Very fitting idea in my opinion to tell the batle-laden events of the calamity through a “Warriors” game. Too bad nothing in “Breath of the Wilds” story is particular original or interesting, except for the end times setting.

Oh, that question’s made for me. In my heart, it’s the original Game Boy. My whole gaming life started with that little grey brick. Throughout the 90s I almost solely played on that system and it’s younger colorful brother. It introduced me to some series, that I still love (“Zelda”, “Donkey Kong Land/Country”,

You have my jealousy of FS2020. That game looked amazing and special when it was announced and I’m glad it seems to deliver. Sadly, it’s more likely that the Berlin airport will be finished (and in that game) than me having a PC that would be able to run that thing. ^^

Yep, that game is pretty good. There really is a renaissance for 2D-beat’em ups, I appreciate, because I only developed a love for that genre in the last few years.

That “irresponsibly quitting jobs”-thing sounds rather tempting... except for the “maybe don’t, if you have kids”-part.

A good mix, probably.

When I get some more time, I’ll continue “The Last of us - Part II”. I’m day 3 in the Abby-section, which I slowly suspect isn’t only a “section”, but the other half of the story. This is still an interesting approach to storytelling and especially not often seen in videogames. The narration has

Yeah, I feel you. Being a Nintendo fan and being a Nintendo hater regularly go hand in hand. It’s a constant struggle between not giving me what I want from them (a new “Wave Race”, a Game Boy Classic Mini, price-discounts or a “3D All-Stars”-Collection that has “Galaxy 1" AND “Galaxy 2" in it) and giving me things

Why did I read your reply with the voice of Jim Sterling in my head?

Haha, this shopping cart theory is super weird. Here in Germany really everybody returns his cart to the corral. (Maybe we are just penny-pinching.) This country is full of assholes. Also, of course it’s super dumb to generally judge somebody’s character just on one simple, unimportant bevavior (except for the

The self-seriousness, edginess and forced coolness especially in the marketing for Ubisoft games (and also in the games themselves, but to a lesser extent) are always maximum cringe. Only "Call of Duty" can hold a candle to that.

No wonder. The first one was released on a practically dead system, was flooded with platformers over it’s short lifespan. And the second one released several years later as an exclusive (!) DSi download game and was accordingly more or less dead on arrival.

I never get those insane prices. I mean, does anybody ever expect someone else to buy this game for hundreds or even over thousand of dollars? And do they wait years upon years for that to happen? I mean, it’s not like a painting. There are several identical copies of this game and you can buy it digitally.

Wait, that is how this works? I thought there was some kind of moderation behind it. But this system seems really nonsensical to me. Well, this site needs a relaunch anyway.

Have you tried other characters or do you stick to one? In my experience different characters are suitable for different levels. And the final boss is not that hard. You can do it. I had my difficulty peak in stage 5, I think (the one with the sewers and then the bar), where I almost gave up entirely. Great game!

I feel you. Dogs are the best animals in existence, but in this game, they are just the worst and I mean that in a good way... kind of. I have a feeling that you can immediately give up on stealth when they are around and just start a fight. Some tips, that help me on Survivor mode: Always have a upgraded melee weapon

I’m playing “The Last of Us - Part II” for the last two weeks and will continue that.

Game clock says I’m around 20 hours in - Seattle, day 2, after the car ride. I play it super slow (obviously) and have not yet gotten to the ultra controversial stuff in the narration, whatever that may be. You know the alleged
