Someone give this man (or woman?) a professional job in game design. This looks fantastic.

True story. I really have a hard time getting into “Ritual of the Night”, because it looks so damn ugly, like a cheap mobile game, but an ugly one. It isn’t just the technical aspect, the artstyle is also pretty unappealing. The rest of the game is fine, but that doesn’t really help, when you want to puke against your…
Thank you! I didn’t know what was going on in the background. (I don’t follow Twitter.) I’m just visiting Kotaku on a daily basis and I thought Jason was working on it’s next big insider reveal story. ^^
Wait, what? Jason is gone, too? What the fuck is happening? And why am I the only one not recognizing this?
One week later, the grotesque creatures of “Bugsnax” are still haunting my dreams. This is so NOT MY GAME.
Oh, the nostalgia hits hard with this one. So many emotions... Thanks, I feel depressed and happy at the same time, now. Well, it’s a Björk-song.
To share his opinion and maybe start a discussion? I mean, what else is the comment section for?
A lack of patience is surely an unexpected characteristic for someone who played through “Red Dead Redemption 2". ;)
The beginning of TLOU is somewhat slow and boring. But after that, it cranks up.
“Assassin’s Creed Origins”, which I started this week, because I can’t focus and get hyped out of nowhere for particular games. So, this is the next one in a dozen of games I started and have yet to finish. And given my track record with Ubisoft open-world-games, I will be addicted to this for like twenty hours and…
Not as disappointing as expected, but not that exciting, either.
Oddworld: Soulstorm had the biggest emotional impact on me. That trailer was intense.
At first, I was disappointed about the first-person-view in Ghostwire, but it still looks really really cool and somewhat unique.
Little Devil inside also got me. It…
This game was as dead on announcement as "Bleeding Edge". I feel sorry for the developers, but I could see this from a thousand miles away.
Absolutely looks like my kind of game and seems to have some individual mechanics and a distinct visual style. Promising!
I'm equally excited and prepared for disappointment.
I'm really excited for "Beyond Blue". This looks like the "Eternal Ocean" successor Nintendo isn't willing to make. Seems pretty relaxed and beautiful.
I just can’t really focus on any game these days, let alone a long one. I don’t really know why.
With the starting of this gen, I made the experience, that I get pretty uninterested on my backlog, when the next gen shift change is about to happen, which is a good thing. There are still some bucket list titles I think…
Second this. Good advice! Just play what you really want and like, not what you think you have to play or finish.
Thank you!
I can recommend Guacamelee. Nice combat-system and surprisingly inventive (and challenging) platforming. The only downside is, that these two aspects are pretty separated from each other. It's also pretty funny and a good coop-game.
I’ll guess emulations don’t count, otherwise I’d see some first-party NES games as serious contenders. ;)
