I’m finally playing “Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night”, on PS4.

Around four hours in, I have to say, this game looks rather ugly. I don’t know, does the word “graphics whore” exist in English? Because in Germany we use it (“Grafikhure”) to describe someone who overvalues good graphics as a criteria for the quality

I think, you just sold a copy for Naughty Dog, because now I’m really intrigued. Loved the first game, but Part II seemed pretty pretentious and up it’s own ass right from the announcement with it’s self-righteous depiction of gritty ultra-violence and the developers pretending it’s not just for the sake of

“Monster Prom XXL” is such a... Ahh, what a title! You can never read that wrong, as I never did, the first time. And now, it’s definitely not stuck in my head with it’s impossible to misread title. The XXL really helps to erase any confusion. Just Monsters having a enormously big... Prom. Nothing unusual.

I’m near the end of my first playthrough of “Streets of Rage 4" and after that, I will probably play it again and again, until I will have unlocked everything and then play it all over multiple times with the stuff I’ve unlocked.

I also bought “Huntdown” this week and will continue that. It looks fantastic, as

You have to give it to these “State of Play”-presentations: They do never not disappoint.

Man, this was such a letdown. They could have safed me ten minutes by saying: “Look, this is like nearly every other big-budget-open-world-game on planet earth, so you know the deal. Extremely guided ‘exploration’, a skill-tree

Ahh, sorry. Obviously, I remembered that wrong. Well, it’s been a while. I even confused the parasite with a virus. But could you blame me, these days? ;)

It's the latest in the timeline, because it's basically the "Mass Effect 3" of "Metroid"-games. They just dead-ended every worthwhile story progression by irretrievably fusing Samus with that stupid virus.

Came here to complain that you didn’t include “Astro Boy”, because most people doing “Best GBA games”-lists seem to forget about what is kind of a triple-A-blockbuster for that system. But nope, a true connoisseur’s list, I have to say.

I also appreciate the inclusion of “Ninja Cop”, as it is called in some other

I am the only one who suspects this is entirely made up for PR reasons?

I couldn’t resist and bought “Streets of Rage 4" and will continue that.

I don’t really have that great of a nostalgic history with the series or the beat’em up-genre. In the 90s and 2000s I was more into fighting games. That said, I played a few examples over the years and caught up on some games in recent times. I

Yeah, that’s what concerns me, too. Initially this was my most-wanted game. But it’s out in a little over two months (and was supposed to release even earlier) and we haven’t seen anything other than cutscenes, one faked target-gameplay demo and the same landscapes over and over. I’m seriously worried. But, on the

Thanks, for the reply and it wasn’t too long. ;) Let’s see what I can say.

First of all, if you’re enjoying “Dragon’s Dogma” right now, stick to it. There’s no sense in forcing yourself to play another game, when you’re really engaged in this one. I think it’s the best to start a game when you’re craving for it.

I

It probably doesn’t and I didn’t say that, at all. But it also doesn’t mean, that you can’t have an elaborate artistic vision when it’s based on an already existing IP. Most pieces of art are inspired by the work of someone else, after all.

To be clear, a was making a reply to your first comment, where you said

Didn’t read the article and only came here to say that every game, movie, book or whatever, nowadays, that has the word “Redemption” slapped in it’s title DESERVES to be canceled. There are exceptions, but I can’t stand it anymore. Every time I have to read that, I die a little. Same goes for “Awakening”. What is it

Because, maybe you don't need more money a have a creative vision beyond making shitloads of money?

While I don’t have a system to play them on, right now (Sold all my old consoles and Nintendo just don’t want to bring them to the Switch.), the Donkey Kong Country and Land games are probably my go to nostalgia kick, videogamewise. Great artstyle, superb music and just simple but challenging fun and so many memories.

What holds you back on "Breath of the Wild"?

I thought there was a “Definitive Edition” of “Sleeping Dogs” coming out for PS4 a few years ago, but it depends on the country where you live in. Maybe check out the Store?

“Husbear”???...

“Mass Effect 3" is a really good game. It’s just so damn disappointing compared to it’s predecessors. And the ending sucks big time, there’s no way around it.
