Are these aims mutually exclusive? Why can’t this be “Hey sweet, spicy nuggets! While you’re at it, let’s also do this other thing?” The negativity makes me immediately not care about whatever they are talking about. It was such an easy wave to ride in a non-confrontational manner.

They released it too early, but they released it too late at the same time. What they released wasn’t fully baked, but they were too slow creating a Facebook competitor to ever convince people to move away from Facebook.

My Note 4 had 2 ~ 3 days under heavy use and 5+ days under light use battery life when new.

The only company that stopped using swapable batteries is the Galaxy. The vast majority of android phones can still swap batteries.

Disagree 100%. I bought a set of 2 spare batteries and a wall charger for $25 off Amazon for my S5. I no longer plug my phone in to charge, just swap a battery once or twice a day. I leave a spare in my car and one on the wall, so I can always get through the day. Since I don’t use a case and my S5 is waterproof, this

The S6 cannot go a full day unless you don’t use it much.

I know people who have had it happen to their iphones too. A quick google search shows that this is a universal problem sooo, you can get that BS outta here lol

Most phones only “claim” to go a full day. It’s never happened in my case, though I use my phone for work daily. I am still using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with 2 spare batteries because:

It’s funny when people act like only iPhone users have to charge their phones. iPhone has a 10 hour life on heavy use. That’s comparable to most phones. I don’t keep my phone for more than two years, but for people like you that keep phones for many many years then yea, I guess swapable parts is important.

Yes, removable batteries are important will low end cheap phones that have cheap parts.

Maybe for you it’s not a big deal anymore. When my wife and I had the original galaxy S, that was THE BEST PART. Whether it can go all day or not, it’s nice to just have an external charger (bought from Amazon) and a few extra batteries. Even if we were just “low” and we knew we were headed out for the day, grab a

The main purpose of a removable battery is so, a year from now when the battery capacity starts to decline, you can simply swap in a new one. In my opinion Samsung, in a misguided effort to compete with the iPhone, has copied all of the worst features of the iPhone and lost their unique Samsung identity. They have

If you are talking about iPhone users, yes... Most of the people I know with iPhones are always topping off... with their phones tethered to either a laptop or a wall charger.

Kind of a big deal to me since you can buy a battery for (usually) less than 20$...seems pretty silly that I should have to pay 4 times that to get it repaired when I should be able to jut take it out anyway. I know batteries have gotten better. I’ve also seen batteries in recent times get the bubble of death, stop

Except when the internal battery fails a year after the purchase so its no longer covered by the manufacturer and you either have to buy a new phone or pay a $200 insurance deductible for a phone that now may not be worth a whole lot more than that.

Look at how many portable chargers are on the market and you’ll see that many people disagree about only needing the internal battery. For me it’s essential.
