It is probably totally subjective, but a lot of the titles in the Direct actually peaked my interest, which hasn’t happened in a while. Even some of the more quirky ones that I probably won’t buy, like that totally bonkers looking and sounding trombone game.

I worked at several smaller studios, and one thing that always baffled me was that some games from larger publishers were released with some obvious certification violations (esp on Nintendo platforms going back to the Wii/DS era). Our suspicion was that sometimes console makers would “fasttrack” games from larger

As a developer with several shipped console titles under his belt, this really sounds like non-news. Failing a submission/certification test is nothing shameful, some of the certification checklists are really rigorous and detailed (in my experience, Sony’s Technical Requirements Checklist TRC is currently the most

You don’t know who is actually working on it just from the studio name alone. They might have hired the appropriate people to handle this.

I see you are a “glass half full” kind of person.

They already hired someone else. The voices in Super Mario Bros. Wonder are already done by someone else.

Not everyone in the world is American you know. As I understand it, Linus also talks fluent French, being a Canadian, so might have to do with that.

With proper planning, they probably can still output 25 videos a week, but in order to have more time for each video to produce, probably need more in-advance production. This obviously won’t work with topics that are very current, but many of their videos aren’t really all that time critical and could easily just

Well, what you wrote essentially shows that you didn’t even see what GamersNexus claimed, nor understand it.

Gamers Nexus did point out that everyone makes mistakes, and that that isn’t the point. The point is how you respond to your mistakes and how you deal with them which was the core criticism. Not that LMG made mistakes.

You only watched their main channels, but they also operate a couple others that put out daily content, like TechLinked, GameLinked, ShortCircuit.

I think the point is that the “slim” versions of PlayStations aren’t all that slim anymore. That trend actually started already with the PS3 Slim, which was still pretty big.

So much this. BOTW and TOTK were built on the idea that everyone should just play the game the way they like. Whether or not to use cheats, and whichever way is more fun for each person, falls into this as well, in my book.

I think I saw a japanese video titled that

Cheating can be fun too btw. That’s how the Ascend ability made it into the game - it was originally a debug function/cheat for devs to get out of caves quickly, but they realized the “cheat” was fun so they included it in the actual game. Don’t talk down on cheats. Sometimes cheats can be more fun than grinding, and

Exactly, you don’t need to grind at all to get through the game, but if you want something extra, like upgrading armor at least twice to get the bonus effects, then the grinding is the least fun part of it. Besides, this frozen meat trick only gets you money anyway, you still have to grind for monster parts if you

Not really, because rupee farming is really really tedious.
