That would be like introducing a cool new mechanic that should be a staple of the series, just to remove it for all other installments.

What? Those are the best thing!
There is nothing wrong with having a similar event not in the US. Gamescom is a viable alternative honestly, and I hope that it can evolve into THE one expo that companies decide to showcase their base reveals of the year at.
Dude just cooked his Steam Deck subconsciously because he needed an excuse to buy the OLED.
Or how about the player chooses who gets impaled depending on the choices he makes in game.
That reminds me. With FF7 Remake out on PC, allowing for mods, has anyone made a “bad translation in the late 90s style” mod yet?
This time, he actually dies, and has been dead all the time, and was played by Zack all along or something. They could pull something like Tidus, as in the protagonist didn’t actually exist in reality for the entire game.
If Sony plays their cards right they can have the rights to a Zelda Movie game adaptation on Playstation. But only if realistic rendering looking like live action. They could have almost as good as a deal as Philips on their CD-i!
How has it less life? BOTW essentially got obsolete now.
Typical in a Mario game is that the main “campaign” if you will isn’t too hard, but the hard stuff comes in the form of bonus or special worlds, and this is the case here again. I swear I lost like 40 lives in that one special world accessible from W2.
Now you can shoot the giant enemy crab for massive damage!

My 3 year daughter old thinks it’s fun to wiggle a brush and make colors, and I still call what she produces art.
All the GBA and DS games were great. After IGA left, there weren’t any more.
They should at least give a DLC that gives you the last two heart pieces (or the appropriate amount of stamina) because in the main game you can’t max both and this bothers my OCD.
Both Sony and Microsoft do release some former console exclusives on PC though. They certainly are less “only on our hardware” than Nintendo, if only by a margin.
Is that the way to get Half Life 3?
It’s probably a function of resolution. A well scaled engine like the Unreal Engine 5 can probably run on a lot of slower hardware with scaled down resolution. There are reports that the Switch 2 supports DLSS3, so it could run the demo in lower resolution and then upscale.
How would that work for a battery powered device that is that thin? Have you seen the power supplies and cooling systems for the PS5/Xbox Series? Physics still matter.
