Sloppy writing. So, so, sloppy.

Yup. At best, they'll undo it by season 4, and only season THREE will have been pointless and a complete waste of time.

I'm not familiar with the Flashpoint storyline, but I'm really hoping the whole clusterfuck aftermath of this finale is resolved within a few episodes next season, and we can get back to the fun dynamic (and continuity) of season 1.

He let Zoom have his way ALL SEASON. He had multiple opportunities to stop and/or kill him, and just stood there - or, even worse, HELPED OUT by giving Zoom his speed instead of fucking drugging him and getting Wally back anyway.

Yeah, I called it too (once I figured that "Jay" was actually Zoom), though I still wasn't sure who the actor would turn out to be. Not until last week, anyway. Still pissed that they killed off Henry. And I swear, if Harry isn't back as a regular next season, I will revolt.

THIS. It made absolutely no sense. Did this show get a whole new writing staff this season? Or did they all just suffer some group brain trauma between seasons? Because at its best, the writing for S2 was sloppy, and at worst, it was downright stupid and nonsensical.

If he was willing to both go back and change the timeline, AND kill his nemesis… why not just go back a week or whatever, and kill Zoom/save Henry? Then go back and rescue the real Jay, slap his dad on the back, and take Iris to bed?

Agreed. It won't be the same without Harry. He's pretty much my favorite part of the show. Despite all the whispering.

Oy. Why didn't he just go back and save his DAD instead? Would have been much less of a risk to the timeline, having happened only days ago…

Barry's just been… a BAD superhero this season. So sick of watching him just let Zoom do whatever the hell he wants, episode after episode. And I'm sorry, but they had EVERY opportunity to trick Zoom and drug him with something other than Barry's speed in that syringe.

So, let me get this straight… Barry is held hostage by the Speed Force so he can work through his mother's death and finally make his peace with the traumatic experience of losing a parent … Only to come back THE VERY NEXT WEEK and witness his FATHER's murder…? And Barry essentially allows it to happen, instead of at
