Having finally seen the movie finally - I get all of the issues people had with it, and I feel much the same way.

I’ll not go so far to argue that The Rock (Cage, Connery, Harris, etc.) is good, but it sure is fun and entertainingly goofy. Also, people seem to like Pain & Gain, but I haven’t seen it.
As someone who loved both The X-Files and Joan of Arcadia, I am now irrationally aggrieved.
I adored that cameo so much, I nearly hyperventilated. I did hyperventilate, actually, and then my blood pressure shot up so I had to do some deep, calming breathing ... I adored that cameo.
