I mean personal taste is always subjective, but some of the things you reference like the taste of aluminum are a thing of the past. I definitely used to be all about bottles, but I much prefer cans in almost all situations. Kate wrote this interesting piece last year about the cans vs. bottles.

Breweries over the last 3/4 years in addition to hoppy/high APV IPA’s, and started brewing session beers. 4-5% APV’s that taste delicious.

Brother, this is a stuffy and bad opinion. Pacifico with a lime is sublime. And as others have said, a perfect complement to fish or carnitas tacos.
