Turnbull is an absolutely terrible canyon to drive, not very enjoyable. I don’t know why so many enjoy it. On the uphill section there’s a certain blind left after cresting a hill and the asphalt usually has dirt runoff affecting traction— most drivers get surprised at the blind left, start braking after cresting the

Brand synergy. Hahaha motherfucking this. I could see “brand synergy” being dropped multiple times as Bungie and Red Bull’s respective PR departments met at some gastropub.

I feel like the media shitstorm that befell Toyota with the “unintended acceleration” was conspiracy-like, especially when put into comparison with the reaction over GM and Takata’s recall woes. GM got off lightly.

I love me some cock sauce (hee hee!), but I primarily use it for various Asian cuisines, which it lends itself well to. Outside of it, it is more novelty. For chrissakes we have whiskey barrel aged sriracha.

I try to take my pup out only really early or really late. His double coat doesn’t really help in LA summer heat, or even just in the sun with moderate temperatures— he always pines for shade and stops in his tracks if I take him out during the day. At night, we go several miles without stopping. Corgis gotta corg.

Sure it does, in the context that Tomb Raider is published by Square Enix; that hair is very Square Enix. I will hold my tongue on whether I think the male hair stylings of Square Enix roleplaying games are good or absolutely atrocious.

I have a strange boner right now. I wonder if a snail trail was left in their wake?

Tangentially related, but fuck those Goodwood challenges in Gran Turismo 6, with the Red Bull concept vehicle. Got the silver, can’t get the gold. 31.0032.... need to beat 31.0 seconds

I would think that having better sensors/radar and longer range missiles that also have better sensors/radar always trumps maneuverability. Not necessarily the best aircraft will win, but the best missile and targeting infrastructure.

Pandemic seems pretty conducive towards teamwork. Sometimes the random unlucky card draw will eliminate any reasonable chance for success, but I’ve found that it pushes the players to work even harder, more efficient, and towards mitigating risks on the next playthrough.

Bear with me here, but I would say that Lexus has taken some mighty risks. In the 25 years since their debut in North America they have done some ballsy things.

A tip of the flatbill cap to you, m’bruh

I’ve lived in Los Angeles my entire life and my family legally immigrated here from a third world country, with barely anything in their name. Some members of my family waited decades to immigrate here legally. Some have taken loans to pay international student tuition rates, whereas illegals are privileged to be

There’s a difference between respecting the concept of sovereignty by abiding by an established nation’s laws and sneaking into one and feeling entitled to everything the former group has

I’m gonna go with it being a base for Obama’s private army of jetpack equipped illegal aliens.

I wish I had gotten a VOODOO card instead of that shitty Matrox Mystique. On the plus side, I did get a version of Mechwarrior 2 that was optimized for that accelerator.

I did this very thing to convert an inexpensive IKEA countertop into a decent looking mid-century inspired long table for the kitchen. (6 hairpin legs, 4 on corners, two in the middle for support)

With how low the stall speeds are on these planes, I imagine they’re very susceptible to being disturbed by wind gusts? I’d imagine something that light and with so much lift would be terrifying to fly in high wind.
