Someone with the skill to create an amazing model don’t necessarily have the skill or money to license an engine and develop a full game.

Actually, they take some insane revenue cut. Plus, your work would probably not get the same exposure compared to a Skyrim mod.

There actually was one.

Aside from Half Life, what’s wrong with episodic?

Damn hipsters.

I mean...

Considering Dragonball Kai, wouldn’t they want to avoid that?

Kind of surprised Michelle Beadle knows what a Leeroy Jenkins is. How far us nerds have come.

With lots of content updates.

The flipside of course, is that you might feel bogged down by nagging IAP - like SWTOR.

This was the experience I had when playing the beta (oh so long ago), its just not unique enough from WoW - though it has a pretty good reputation on steam, so perhaps its just the game for some people.

That spy management game, Blizzard should update the armory app to do that with Garrisons and smartwatches...

A chicken follower? Yes!

I think if a game were to sum up trolling at its finest, its Trouble in Terrorist Town from Garry’s Mod. You just have to accept that it happened, laugh about it, and plot your equally absurd revenge/turn at trolling.

I believe you need a creators approval to do that, and can setup that they get a cut. You also can’t sell existing listed mods.

Its entirely legal if its original work. You aren’t paying for the game or assets, you’re paying for the new code/weapon/textures/etc. Of course giving Bethesda a cut makes it even less of an issue.

Technically there is a donate button, you can setup items to be “pay what you want”.

Well... Valve sorta has a history of mishandling this stuff - I’m sure it will get sorted out and lead to more quality mods (who’s going to pay for crappy ones, after all).

Someone’s gotta pay for hosting that horse armor, and shouldn’t people who create something you want earn a little?
