Ugh, numbers breathing down yet neck when you play a game. I don’t care for that one bit. I don’t play games to FEEL stressed. I play games to RELAX and have FUN. That’s why, when unranked was introduced in SC2,I turned away from ranked and never looked back. Hell that’s part of the reason I stopped trying to unlock…
It’s silly if you take Cyan and Gau to the Opera House, as then Ultros is trying to get his revenge on four people he’s never met before.
Well, the intro to Mega Man 7 called the main antagonist “Dr. Willy” instead of Dr. Wily. Also, at the end, Mega Man said, “I gonna do” instead of “I’m gonna do”. Not the most outstanding of all bad dialogues in a video game.
I enjoyed this article. I think it really helps one to remember to remove those emerald-colored nostalgia glasses and realize that the city isn’t even green.
I heard about a guy that wore a Mr. Saturn costume and wound up suffering from the brutal heat for it. The costume was extremely accurate, though.
Offhand, the three minigames I enjoyed were the bike one, the submarine one, and the snowboarding one.
Beware of Nova and Zeratul, both of whom can actually find and kill you, even if you’re behind the forward walls.
To my understanding, the majority of what the TPP would do is largely unknown, as it has been kept secret from the public. What little is known about it came from leaks, and since not one bit of it has been good, there have been nearly constant petitions to delay and cancel it at every step along the way.
Let’s see here, which of those games have I actually played?
No.
You look for parts of a device (they are in pits) that allow you to contact the other aliens to come pick you up. Then you use the device at the broadcast location. Then you wait for them to pick you up from the landing zone. Also, the rooms are connected like the sides on a cube.
I’m mostly just shocked that they’re charging 40 dollars for the game. That just seems ridiculously overpriced for it.
Oh, that’s the best part: not a damn thing! It’s amazing! As an added bonus, he gave us all this comedy skit to laugh at, absolutely free!
It could seriously stand to make talent gating LESS restrictive. In ANY WAY POSSIBLE!
The thing that made me stop playing HotS is the per-hero talent gating. It’s everywhere. It’s on every single hero. It literally takes hours upon hours to push through it. And worst of all, IT’S NO FUN AT ALL!
Yes indeed. Better to get it all out in the open, and hopefully have Blizzard publicly acknowledge some of them, as well as state how they intend to address those problems.
“Let’s start with the positive ones. “ Does that mean there’ll be a follow-up article that lists its shortcomings?
It also has some pretty incredible talent gating. I wish they create an option to completely opt out of it, ’cause I seriously can’t stand it. It is no fun whatsoever.
It sorta emphasized magic considerably more than physical attacks, but it’s still a fine game to be sure.
