Egregious? Hell, if anything, Nancy was being POLITE. The Republicans behave more like a crime syndicate, gang, or a cult....

But...responsibility and accountability are an anathema to law enforcement. They have to be allowed to operate with complete immunity and autonomy, answerable to no one for anything, ever. How else could they possibly do their jobs of ... what do they do again? Because protect & serve is kind of vague...specifically…

It had never occured to me that police should be screened for alcohol/drugs after fatal shootings, but it makes enormous sense. Drivers involved in fatal collisions are always screened, and if a police officer takes a life the same should apply to them.

Two items I’d like to present in my grey post:

The way they brazenly lie to Congress is insane.  Congress needs to make that a crime.  If you can’t tell the truth, shut up.

Firearm ownership should know no political, gender, religious or racial bounds. I know it unfortunately does (or draws unwarranted scrutiny) but I’m all for anyone who wants to own one, to get one.

More people left of center need to arm themselves. The right has so many it’s seriously lopsided.
