I have known a few people who have this attitude toward music. However, not a lot of them are willing to talk about it. Maybe comparisons to, say, cannibals have made them feel stigmatized about discussing it in public?

No Substance is a wretched record, but it was The New America that caused me to write them off for a while. It hurt really especially badly because I really loved The Grey Race. New America actually cemented a two-album rule that I still use today.

Hear It, Sowing the Seeds of Utopia, Voracious March of Godlessness, and Biggest Killer in American History are the only listenable songs on that record for me.

"Reflections" was the end for me. I loved the sound when it was all cello, but the addition of drums ruined their sound to my ears.

Funnily enough, the first Metallica album I heard was The Black Album, and that's what got me into them. But alter the double whammy of Load and Reload, I reassessed my position on the band and I have been firmly in the "nothing after Master" camp ever since.

I was never really thrilled by No Doubt. I didn't get what the fuss was about. But, with "Rock Steady," for a minute, I found something I actually didn't mind listening to. Then I bored of it and haven't listened to them since.

I got out of Pearl Jam after "Vs." I know that most people think "Vitalogy" is a great record, but I can't stand it. Tried to get back into them with "No Code," but I didn't like that either. I think my tastes just moved away from their sound.

So if I'm ambivalent about Singer's X-Men films, I'll feel moderately about this one as well? Good to know!

My personal favorite is Demented Are Go's "Nuke Mutants."

Can someone let me know the scene that reveals Rawls is married with children? I don't remember that at all. But, then again, I forgot the graffiti scene too.

I had wondered how the article completely missed the rice…

I do the same thing with my Classic.

Thanks for the upcoming nightmares.

Personally, I've always hated The Eagles. To me, they're far worse than Nickelback, as I've been having to put up with The Eagles for far longer.

I frequently find myself saying "I've had a bad night and I just hate the fucking Eagles, man!"

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos!

Milli Vanilli - Baby Don't Forget My Number

Uggh, this suggestion just makes me think of the wretched cover of this song that Atreyu perpetrated.

Yes, Yes, Yes, a Thousand Times Yes!!

I bought this record the week it came out. And this has always been my favorite song on it. After many listens, I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter who the song is about to the band. To me, it's always been about the Descendents, and finding out who the song is for wouldn't change that in the
