Debadging is a standard in Germany. Most BMW’s swing out of the factory without a badge.

Heeeey a “Safari Car” done right!!!

Ya know, if someone flags me down while yelljng taxi and I’m in a yellow sports car.... I'd be pretty inclined to stop. Just out of curiosity lol.

Were the Scooby Snacks ok?

Wow. That was a fantastic read. Kinda brought me back there a little. I didn’t grow up in the suburbs though. But, towards the end, I’m pretty sure I could smell the little cafes my grandad used to bring me to as a kid. But the one that stuck was Huddle House. For years in the 90's every Wednesday night was bowling

This is the absolute truth. Take your star.

Haha been busting my knuckles for some time myself. I know the sentiment. There maaay have been many a night where I would be in the shop with some insane little scheme. Before I know it, it’s 2am (the next day), the engine is in pieces, I’ve got half a cage welded, and I realize what I’m going nowhere.

I agree. There is a certain amount of research that should have been done in preparation. Every build should start with some basis of learning what paths others have taken with similar ideas. Many times, you’ll find out in ten minutes whether a build is feasible or not.

On that lowered Jeep side of things... Can we

  • Aaaaand added to my watch later! Those foiled suits were/are commonly used for high temp, non-wicking firefighting. Military Airport Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) suits were commonly foiled until a few years back.

Next time I’m back in that area, I’ll definitely swing by. That whole museum sounds like a blast!

Nice win!!! Are we sure Fancy K doesn’t use a burner account?

Haha now that’s just ironic. I’m prior Air Force Fire Crash/Rescue. And there’s a Maltec next to what looks like an ARFF firefighter and an old rig. This... This tells me it was meant to be.

Joking aside, the Maltecs are very cool machines. I’m kind of jealous / super happy that you got to see one in person.

Just realized this could loosely be called a crossover..

Does.. Does that make it a CrossFit?!

The most expensive small camper ever but.... I want one so badly for Overland stuff!

Please sweet Lord let this monstrosity be in the next season of the Grand Tour.

Early 20th century racers. Look up some early Formula 1.

@AlcSyn Structural body work and experience is one thing. Along with that comes the wisdom of when a project is feasible and when it’s not. The Abarth was never made to be lifted like that and I’d be surprised if the structure of the vehicle could support it for any real off-road use.

I see where you’re coming from.

Haha I’m glad I gave ya the opportunity to use it. I’m familiar with lifted builds lol. But this guy, wow. That said, no one got hurt in the end.

Ideally lol. Unless you’re driving a Trabant. It does none of things properly, if at all. But! It’s a Trabant, it makes up for it by being itself. Personal projects should definitely keep their basic functions safely at the least.

Wow... A lot of these are just.. Mean.. The majority of us here enjoy your articles and the work you do. Keep it up!

Agreed.
